Norton Fields Preserve

There isn’t much to do at this 20.5 acre preserve other than watch the corn grow and be thankful you’re not looking at another pile of houses. It was protected in two parts, in 1986 and 1998

From the Landbank’s Page for the Preserve: Top-grade soils and a flat terrain have made the Katama great plains attractive to farmers for centuries. A portion of this property is currently used as a cornfield.

Getting there: The preserve is a half mile down the Herring Creek Road after the split with Katama Road.
