I wake up and go to Tony’s Market and get my dark roast coffee and my chocolate chip scone. Then I drive down to the lagoon where I have my kayak. Now it’s about 6:45 in the morning. There’s no waves – the water’s like glass. I get in my kayak and leisurely paddle around the lagoon for about 45 minutes.
I put my kayak away and go up to the YMCA. I do a little workout – some aerobics on the bike, a little weightlifting.
Then I spend the afternoon at Lambert’s Cove Beach, reading and kind of walking up and down the beach. In the late afternoon, I go to Farm Neck and play tennis. After about an hour and a half of that, I go home and take a shower and I go to The Ritz on Circuit Ave and dance to Johnny Hoy.
