The Vineyard is blessed with a wide variety of shellfish: quahogs, cherrystones, and littleneck clams, steamer clams, bay scallops, mussels, and oysters.  All of these are harvested from the wild, but there are also commercial oyster farms in Menemsha Pond and Katama Bay.
