Since 1930, The Home Port Restaurant has been serving traditional seafood fare in the 300 year old fishing port of Menemsha. Known for incomparable sunsets, classic lobster dinners and famed clam chowder, this waterfront restaurant is truly an iconic landmark. Seating inside is family style, and there’s a full children’s menu and an extensive raw bar. Most of the menu is a la carte, but there’s the great option of the Home Port 3 Course Menu – pick any Entrée, Sandwich or Fresh Fish Dish and add an appetizer and dessert for only $9 More. While the rules are changing elsewhere on the Vineyard, Menemsha is still a dry town. The Homeport can’t serve alcoholic beverages, but you can bring any wine, beer or spirits you choose to compliment your meal. Ice buckets for wine are available, as are glassware, hand crafted mixers and simple soda water, tonic and juice for your most creative cocktail concoctions.
