Don a pair of running shoes and enter the 24th Annual Oak Bluffs Memorial Day Road Race. The race starts promptly at 10:00am on Sunday, May 28th in Oak Bluffs. It is a USA TF-Certified course and will benefit Hospice of Martha’s Vineyard.

Enjoy a delicious grilling session that features produce and specialty items from local farmers. The Oak Bluffs Open Market takes place on Sunday, May 28th from 9:00am – 1:00pm in Washington Park, Oak Bluffs. You can enjoy the day in the park by the sea browsing for the perfect combination of arts, crafts, produce, and local delicacies.

Take in beautiful works of art at the Annual Memorial Day Show presented by the Eisenhauer Gallery of Edgartown. This year’s show will feature work from Michel Brosseau, Annie Wildey, and Paul Norwood. The gallery will be open from 6:00pm – 8:00pm on Saturday, May 27th.

Support local and national heroes in the March for Heroes on Saturday, May 27th. The 26.2 mile march will begin at 6:30am at the VFW Post in Oak Bluffs. Join in for any part of the walk as it traverses the island and supports local veteran organizations.
